Art in Oro Valley Contest and Exhibition
April 10, 2008 - Ventana Medical Systems

It is with the support of the Oro Valley Town Council that the Greater Oro Valley Arts Council presents the annual Art in Oro Valley Contest and Exhibition.  The contest and exhibition is organized to promote the creation and enjoyment of art in the community, and to recognize the achievements of the many talented artists among us.  The competition is designed to encourage both the accomplished, and, the beginning artist living or working in the greater Oro Valley area to showcase their talent.  The annual competition is open to all ages and all two dimensional artwork. 

This year’s contest will open on April 10 at Ventana Medical Systems, Inc.  The subject matter for the contest is People.  Artists may choose to render the exquisite beauty of a single individual, a group of people in a still life setting, or a piece full of movement and action. The scope of the subject will be satisfied as long as People make their presence felt. 

GOVAC/Ventana Medical Systems, Inc. Art Exhibition

GOVAC and Ventana Medical Systems, Inc. have collaborated together for the past three years to offer the community an alternative art gallery in Oro Valley entitled GOVAC/Ventana Medical Systems, Inc. Art Exhibition.  The hallways within the beautiful facilities of Ventana Medical will be awash with aspiring artists as well as nationally acclaimed professionals.  The current exhibition continues through the end of February and houses exquisite works from Diane Meyers, Donald Holland, Pam Davidson and William Behm.  The exhibition is open to the public Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with all paintings offered for sale.
